New to our church? Here are some answers to questions you might be asking before your visit:
What are your services like?
Our worship gathering each Sunday morning is the core meeting time for our church family each week. We gather at 10:00 a.m. to sing, pray, and hear God's word together. Our music includes a mix of both well-known hymns and contemporary songs. Our pastor preaches text-driven sermons that seek to help us better understand the Bible and apply it to our daily lives. Each service lasts about 75 minutes.
What should I wear?
"Come as you are." Most of our folks dress in modest, casual attire.
Where should I park?
There are parking spaces on both sides of the drive on the north side (rear) of the church. There are additional spaces right along West 12th St on the south side of our building.
Is there anything for my kids?
We have a nursery and children's classes during our 10:00 a.m. worship service. Our pre-K through 5th grade children begin the worship service with the adults. After a few songs, our pastor leads a "children's sermon" before they dismiss to age-graded classes with our dedicated volunteer leaders.
We also have activities for children & youth during the week. TeamKid meets on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. for K-5th grades. 6th-12th grade students meet each Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. as well as Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m.
What about breakfast?
Getting the family to church on time can be a challenge. We've removed one obstacle with a home-cooked breakfast available prior to our worship gathering each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. Breakfast is served in the fellowship hall on the east side of our building. Bring your appetite and enjoy a friendly time of fellowship with others.
Will I be "singled out" on my first visit?
While we seek to greet every visitor to our church warmly and make them feel at home, we will not single you out in front of others with a special welcoming time.
